Spring Trend Predictions According To The Runway

Though spring 2024 might seem far away for some, designer brands have already started showing off their spring 2024 collections on the runway. Chanel, Dior, Versace, Fendi and many other known brands have released sneak peeks into their future collections. Let’s take a closer look at some trends that are showing up on the runway, that we should look out for this coming spring. 

Taking a look at Christian Dior cruise 2024 show, the first thing to notice is the interweaving of masculine-feminine styles presented. Christian Dior took inspiration from traditional Mexican attire for the cruise 2024 show. With this being said, the collection is filled with different colored embroidery to capture the vivid colors in traditional Mexican gowns. Another piece that made several appearances was the full skirts. The full skirt has been around for many years, but as far as a real understanding of fashion, the full skirt emerged in a new way in the 1940’s by Christian Dior.

Chanel hosted a resort 2024 fashion show that captured many different spring inspired outfits, from mini skirts to full. One thing is for sure, gold, silver, jewels and sequins are making a huge comeback this upcoming spring. Crochet meets suit attire seems to be coming in hot, taking inspiration from the 1970s. Although the crocheted suits take inspiration from the 70s, their new look is very 2024 friendly, between its color patterns, cropped jackets and mini skirts, this is guaranteed to be a hit in spring 2024.

Versace also hosted a resort 2024 runway show, this collection also played with masculine-feminine styles. Many of the female models wore suits, but not your average suit, these suits were fit to perfection to show off the most beautiful curves. The mens suits were also very form fitting and the colors of the suits shown on the runway were not your everyday suit attire, with colors like pink, metallic blue and other pastels. After taking a look at this runway show, it’s safe to say, pink is making a huge appearance this upcoming spring.

Trench coats are coming in hotter than ever as seen in the Fendi Spring 2024 collection. Fendi also created utility styles using leather, the cargo with multiple pockets is sticking around in the upcoming year.

All of these known brands had unique designs that personally reflected their brand name, however there were many common ideas within all of these collections. Full skirts, fitted suits for men and women, crocheted pieces, and bright color spectrums were all involved within each big brand mentioned.
